Bonding Basics Workshop Held on October 13th in Nanaimo and Courtenay

A workshop has been specially designed for Vancouver Island Construction Association (VICA) members (and future members), by the Surety Association of Canada.  Participants will have access to the extensive experience brought to the Vancouver Island session by seasoned surety industry veterans.  The content of the session will include an examination and discussion of:

  • How to Establish and Maintain a Strong Surety Relationship;
  • Bonds – A Brief Introduction;
  • What’s in it for me and my company; and
  • Overview of the Surety Market Place.

Attendees will come away with a better understanding of the ‘whys and wherefores’ of bonding and why it is an important part of the Vancouver Island construction industry.  More importantly, Vancouver Island Construction Association members will learn “what’s in it for me”, and how to access the benefits for their companies.
