New Health-Care Facility in the Comox Valley for 19 Wing Comox

Completion of New Facility projected for June 2012
The tender for the Comox Valley construction of a new two storey, 24,000 square metre health care facility at 19 Wing Comox on Vancouver Island, was awarded to Island West Coast Development. The facility will be located on DND property in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island near the entrance to the base and will provide services for dental, mental health and trauma. The estimated budget for this Vancouver Island project is approximately $12 million. The expected completion date for this project is June 2012.
