Realtor Art Meyers Thanks CFB Comox Members, Military Retirees and Veterans for Their Service

Posted: Nov 10, 2017

On Nov. 11, Canadians mark Remembrance Day, and locally a variety of memorial events are scheduled in the Comox Valley. All three municipalities (Courtenay, Comox and Cumberland) host parades, followed by a moment of silence at their cenotaphs. The Legion Halls in all thee communities also host open houses, and all are welcome.

CFB Comox is a busy air force base, and a large community of retired Canadian military members have made the area home, making Remembrance Day an important holiday for the local community. Military retirees have joined the ranks of a growing seniors’ population in the Comox Valley, and are often drawn to the area by the area’s natural beauty, favourable climate and friendly active communities.

Realtor Art Meyers has been working to serve the Comox Valley real estate needs of CFB Comox families and retired military members for more than four decades. This Remembrance Day, Art Meyers honours the sacrifices of our veterans, and gives thanks for the freedoms Canadians now enjoy.
